State banking giant People’s Bank continues to create more winners through its ‘Jaya Sri 2008’ grand draw. The monthly draw for July was held recently at the People’s Bank Head Office, under the patronage of Mr. H. S. Dharmasiri, DGM – Human Resources. He is seen here at the draw (second from right), selecting the number for the first prize winner. The draw was held in the presence of Mrs. T. M. R. M. Gunawardana, Senior Assessor, Department of Revenue – Western Provincial Council and Mr. M. A. S. I. Abeywardena, Tax Officer of the Department of Revenue – Western Provincial Council, and the internal audit officers of People’s Bank.
A wide and valuable range of prizes are in store for those who save with People’s Bank’s ‘Jaya Sri’. Winners of each monthly draw will win a valuable car as the first prize, followed by 5 computers, 5 digital cameras, 5 refrigerators and 5 televisions for 20 more lucky winners. Furthermore, 325 DVD players (April to June), 325 sewing machines (July to September) and 325 mobile phones (October to December) are also on offer. A grand prize of Rs.10mn awaits the winner of the year-end grand draw of ‘Jaya Sri 2008’. Anyone with a People’s Bank savings or current account with a minimum balance of Rs.25,000/= is eligible for the draw.
