Eligibility
For Individuals , Firms or companies in Sri Lanka who are providing professional services to residents outside Sri Lanka and or to local firms or companies who earn foreign exchange.

Types of accounts:
- Legal Services
- Accounting, Auditing and Book Keeping services.
- Taxation Services
- Architectural Services
- Engineering Services
- Medical and Dental Services
- Veterinary Services
- Physiotherapists and paramedical personnel
- Software Development
- Data Processing
- Data Base Development
- Research dev. Natural Sciences, Social sciences and humanities
- Advertising
- Management consulting services
- Scientific and technical consulting services
- Photographic services
- Packaging services
- Printing and publishing services
- Convention services
- Hotels registered with Tourist Board
- Entertainment services(theatre , Live Band)
- Fashion Designers, Modelers of cloths and hats etc.
- Any other professional services permitted by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
An undertaking should be provided by the individual, all partners and the Board of Directors as the case may be to the effect that the individual/Firm/Company is already engaged in providing professional services and that only in the payments received in Foreign Exchange for the provision of such services will be credited to the account.
Types of accounts:
- Fixed and
- Savings Accounts
Permitted credits (Deposits)
- Inward remittances received in convertible foreign currencies through an authorized dealer for providing professional services to residents outside Sri Lanka.
- Payments received in Foreign exchange by way of bank draft or bank transfer for professional services rendered to resident firms and companies who earn their revenue in foreign exchange.
Permitted Debits (Withdrawals)
- Payments in Foreign exchange to residents outside Sri Lanka on account of Current account transactions of the individual /firm/company.
- Disbursements in Sri Lanka rupees is freely permitted. Withdrawals in Sri Lanka rupees shall not be eligible for reconvert to FC and re-credit to account
Payment to another FCAPS on account of professional service provided.
