    Loan facilities for Paddy and Subsidiary Food crops are allowed under New Comprehensive Rural Credit Scheme through out the Island.

  • Eligibilities

    • The farmers and the tenant farmers who obtain facilities should be permanent residents of the area and the farmers should be the owner of the agricultural lands.

    • Letter from the Regional / Divisional Officers or Unit Managers (in the Mahaveli area) certifying ownership are adequate for purpose of determining the ownership of lands of where cultivation is done on government land.

    • Age limit 18-65 (applicant over this age limit should apply jointly with a family member who is within the age limit
