Sisu Udana Children's Savings Account aims to provide every child of Sri Lanka with a bright future through encouraging excellence in all their endeavors. Most schools across the island already have their very own Sisu Udana Savings Unit, where the banking activities are carried out by the children themselves. A child is able to go to one of these Savings Units and open a Sisu Udana Savings Account. Thereafter, they can deposit money in their account whenever they want. Alternatively, you can visit the nearest People's Bank branch and open a Sisu Udana Savings Account for your child. You can start saving with as little as Rs.100/-.
Existing "Isuru Udana" Accounts will be automatically converted to ‘Sisu Udana’ Accounts at the age of 5 years

- A Sisu Udana account can be opened for children between 5-18 years of age, with a minimum deposit of Rs. 100/-
