The campaign is dedicated to appreciating and rewarding the invaluable contributions made by Sri Lankan expatriates who work overseas and consistently support the nation through their Workers’ Remittances.

Eligibility

Workers’ Remittances received through People’s Instant Remit, People’s Web Remit, Telexes, Swift, Western Union, RIA or similar anywhere payout products of the People’s Bank during the period from 2026.01.01-2026.12.31 and effected in the following manner are eligible for the Draw.

To the Credit of People’s Bank personal accounts
For over-the-counter cash payments (B2B)
Western Union
RIA and any other “anywhere payout products”

Prizes

Winners will be selected on a weekly basis from the Workers’ Remittances received during the respective weeks.
Each Rs. 100,000 (or it’s equivalent in other currencies) of the Workers’ Remittance is eligible for multiple winning chances.
Two winners will be selected each week, and each winner will be awarded a cash prize of LKR 100,000/-.

(the beneficiary must be a female account holder of People’s Bank).
April “People’s Remittance Kalin Awrudu Vaasi”	Three Months From 2026.01.01 to 2026.03.31	Awarding Rs. 25,000/- worth 50 Bags of Essential Goods Selecting 50 random winners by a draw for individuals who receive Workers' Remittances directly into their People's Bank accounts (FC/LKR) for the period from 2026.01.01 to 2026.03.31 and award each winner a Bag of Essential Goods worth Rs. 25,000.
